Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Thursday night and at dawn Friday 16 young men from the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Montaser Samour director of the Prisoners’ Club in Jenin said that IOF arrested Ahmed Musa and Ali Musa while they were passing through a makeshift military checkpoint near Al-Zawiya village south of Jenin.
Eyewitness reported that IOF arrested Musa Ahmed Al-Arouj Musa Radi Al-Arouj Abdel-Rahman Al-Arouj and Saher Al-Arouj after raiding and searching their families’ homes in the town of Janata east of Bethlehem.
On Thursday night several Jerusalemites were injured and others were arrested after they confronted the storming of Israeli Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir in the vicinity of Bab al-Amud in Jerusalem in an attempt to open the way for extremist settlers’ march in the Old City.
The Red Crescent Society in Jerusalem stated in a brief statement that its teams dealt with 13 injuries during the confrontations with the Israeli police in Bab Al-Amud. The injuries were as follows: 2 with rubber bullets 5 with tear gas canisters 4 by beatings and 2 with sound bombs.
Local sources reported that the occupation police were deployed in the area and arrested at least 10 citizens including the child Muhammad al-Fakhouri and other young men.
