IOF raids homes kidnaps Palestinians in W. Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Monday a number of Palestinian citizens during raids on homes in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a citizen from the family of Abu Arqoub after ransacking his home in Birzeit town north of Ramallah and handed his brother a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.

The IOF also kidnaped two young men from al-Khalil City after raiding their homes.

Meanwhile the IOF set up in the morning several military checkpoints and intensified its presence in southern Jenin north of the West Bank.

Eyewitnesses said that the IOF obstructed the movement of Palestinian vehicles and passengers after deploying several checkpoints on roads in southern Jenin including on the Nablus-Jenin road and at the main entrance of Jinan suburb in Jenin.

IOF vehicles also patrolled different areas in southern Jenin in the morning.

In this regard the Israeli military and security authorities have announced their intent to intensify their campaigns in Jenin and Nablus in particular following reports claiming that Palestinian resistance cells plan to launch operations in retaliation for recent Israeli crimes and violations in the occupied West Bank.

The IOF has been carrying out near-daily raids in the West Bank in recent months prompting the Palestinian resistance to launch retaliatory operations against Israeli targets.

The IOF faced fierce resistance during most of these raids which in some instances turned deadly.

More than 60 Palestinian citizens including resistance fighters have been killed by the IOF since the start of the current year according to official Palestinian statistics.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided homes and kidnaped some Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank at dawn Tuesday.

According to local sources the IOF stormed Jenin refugee camp and kidnaped senior Hamas official Atta al-Jabali and another citizen from their homes.

Local youths and resistance fighters reportedly clashed with Israeli soldiers during the IOF campaign in Jenin.

The IOF also raided homes in Ya’bad town in western Jenin and other areas in Tubas Nablus and Ramallah with no reported arrests.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Wednesday several Palestinian citizens including students during campaigns in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped three university students from Nablus City.

In Ramallah the IOF stormed Silwad town and kidnaped six young men from their homes.

In Jenin two young men were kidnaped during IOF raids on homes in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin City.

Another young man was also injured by live ammunition and pronounced dead later during the same IOF campaign in Jenin.

In Bethlehem the IOF kidnaped a citizen from his home in Azza refugee camp.

In a related context the Israeli occupation army claimed its forces kidnaped 13 wanted Palestinians during dawn raids in the West Bank.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens during raids on homes in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped eight citizens during raids on homes in Jericho province.

Five others were taken prisoners during IOF raids in different areas of Ramallah province.

Four young men were also kidnaped by the IOF in Jenin al-Khalil and Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Tuesday stormed different areas of the West Bank where they raided homes kidnaped a number of citizens and clashed with resistance fighters and local youths.

In Jenin City one Palestinian young man suffered a bullet injury during clashes between the IOF and local youths.

Israeli forces also engaged in armed clashes with resistance fighters immediately after they stormed the city.

Two citizens identified as Emad Saba’neh and Abd Abu Naasah were taken prisoners during violent IOF raids on homes in Jenin.

In Nablus five young men including a journalist were wounded by rubber bullets during overnight clashes with the IOF in the eastern area of the city which was stormed by Jewish settlers for rituals at Joseph’s Tomb.

In southern Bethlehem the IOF stormed Beit Fajjar town and kidnaped a young man identified as Ahmed Thawabteh from his home.

The IOF also ransacked a house belonging to the father of prisoner Mahmoud ash-Sheikh in Marah village in the south of Bethlehem.

Another citizen identified as Asaad Abu Ahour a resident of Bethlehem City was kidnaped by the IOF at the Container checkpoint in northern Bethlehem while another young man identified as Jalal Diriyah was kidnaped from his home in the city.

In al-Khalil City the IOF raided several homes and set up makeshift checkpoints at the northern entrances to the city and the towns of Sa’ir Yatta and Halhul.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Sunday raided homes and kidnaped some Palestinian citizens in the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped lawyer Fareed al-Attrash head of the Independent Commission for Human Rights after intercepting his car at the Container checkpoint in the northeast of Bethlehem upon his return from a march staged in Ramallah to protest the murder of Palestinian activist Nizar Banat.

Asra Media Office said that the IOF transferred lawyer Attrash to Hadassah Hospital after he suffered a health issue.

The IOF also stormed Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil and kidnaped an ex-detainee called Bilal Abdul-Rahman after severely beating him.

They also raided several homes in the Old City of al-Khalil and set up makeshift checkpoints on roads leading to al-Khalil City and its nearby towns and refugee camps. No arrests have been reported.

In Jerusalem police forces stormed Issawiya district and Wadi Hilweh neighborhood without making arrests.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday raided homes and kidnaped several Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped three ex-detainees from Arraba town in the southwest of Jenin after ransacking their homes.

The three detainees were identified as Ahmed Adnan Ja’far Fawzi and Hassan Ramzi.

In Bethlehem the IOF kidnaped an ex-detainee called Mohamed Kareem from al-Deheisha refugee camp after ransacking his home and confiscating his cellphones and laptop.

Clashes reportedly took place between local youths and soldiers during the IOF campaign in al-Deheisha camp.

Another citizen called Mustafa Kamel was kidnaped by the IOF in the tunnel area in Beit Jala as he was heading for his workplace in Jerusalem.

In al-Khalil two citizens identified as Yazeed Kareem and Ramzi al-Haymouni were kidnaped from their homes in the areas of Bir al-Mahjar and Wadi Abu Katila.

Three others were taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in Tuqu town and Bethlehem city.

In Jerusalem Israeli police forces broke into and ransacked the house of prisoner Mutaz Waleed 18 in al-Thawri neighborhood and confiscated some things including a Palestinian flag.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday carried out raids on homes and kidnaped Palestinian citizens in the West Bank amid clashes with local youths in some areas.

According to local sources the IOF stormed Ya’bad town in western Jenin and kidnaped three young men following raids on a number of homes.

The detainees in Ya’bad were identified as Mohamed Turkman and the brothers Nour and Baraa Abu Bakr.

The IOF also stormed Qabatiya town southwest of Jenin and kidnaped two young men from the family of Abul-Rab.

In al-Khalil the IOF broke into several homes in al-Khalil city and kidnaped a young man called Omar Shawer from his house in Qarn al-Thawr neighborhood.

In a separate incident a homemade bomb was reportedly thrown at dawn towards an Israeli military base in northern Bethlehem while Palestinian young men hurled stones at Jewish settlers’ cars on a road near Azzun town in Qalqilya.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday carried out raids on homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during campaigns in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped two young men identified as Abdul-Raheem Sabah and Karam Ammar from their homes in Qaffin town north of Tulkarem.

The IOF also stormed Far’un town in southern Tulkarem and kidnaped a high-school student called Mahmoud Adwan from his home.

In Ramallah three young men were taken prisoners during an IOF campaign in different areas of Ramallah.

On Tuesday evening the IOF kidnaped a young ex-detainee identified as Musaab Qatish a resident of Attil town in Tulkarem at a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance to Qalqilya city.

Another young man identified as Fahed Yehya from Tulkarem was also kidnaped at a checkpoint in southern Nablus yesterday.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens following raids on homes in different West Bank areas.

Some of the detainees were identified as Sameer Ammar and Abd Biqawi from Qaffin town in northern Tulkarem and Ziyad Abu Salem from Abu Shukheidim in northern Ramallah according to local sources.

In al-Khalil another two young citizens were kidnaped from their homes during IOF campaigns in the towns of Dura and Idhna. They were identified as Mahmoud Abu Hashash and Abdul-Fattah Jahisha.

Meanwhile violent clashes reportedly took place at dawn between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers in al-Arroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil.

The IOF also stormed Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil and ransacked homes with no reported arrests.

In Nablus city the IOF stormed Amman street and the area of Joseph’s Tomb and kidnaped a young man called Ameed Hawtari.

In Jenin the IOF raided the house of prisoner Murad Abu Salah in Arraba town and kidnaped a citizen called Nawras Firas from Mirka village.

The IOF also raided homes in Beit Fajjar town in southern Bethlehem and Shu’afat refugee camp in Jerusalem.

In an earlier incident overnight clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli police forces in Issawiya district and at-Tur town in Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday carried out raids on homes and arbitrary arrests in different areas of the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF raided the house of Mohamed Sarai’ah at the junction of Salem town in Nablus and a carpenter workshop downstairs belonging to the same person.

The IOF confiscated equipment from the carpenter workshop before leaving the area without making arrests.

In Ramallah the IOF stormed Deir Ghassaneh town and kidnaped a young man identified as Ahmed Baseem from his home.

The IOF also stormed Anabta town in Tulkarem and al-Samua town in al-Khalil and kidnaped two citizens from their homes including two brothers.

Several homes in other areas of the West Bank were also raided with no reported arrests.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Thursday raided homes and kidnaped some Palestinian citizens during campaigns in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a citizen from his home in Bani Na’im town during a campaign in al-Khalil.

The IOF also raided several homes in Halhul town north of al-Khalil without making arrests.

In Salfit a young man identified as Mustafa Asi was taken prisoner during an IOF campaign in Qarawat Bani Hassan town.

In Qalqilya the IOF stormed some of its neighborhoods and brutalized local residents. No arrests have been reported.

Eyewitnesses in Qalqilya told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers intercepted a car and physically assaulted its driver near the old headquarters of Palestine Bank in the city.

In Jericho the IOF raided the house of a local resident called Mahmoud al-Walji and withdrew without making arrests.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Sunday raided homes and kidnaped several Palestinian citizens in different areas of the West Bank.

In a statement the Israeli army said its forces arrested nine Palestinians in overnight West Bank campaigns and confiscated dozens of thousands of shekels.

Local sources in al-Khalil said the IOF kidnaped a journalist called Sameh Attiti from al-Arroub refugee camp and a young man called Ali al-Harroub from Dura town.

The IOF also stormed Beit Kahil town in the northwest of al-Khalil and kidnaped three citizens after ransacking their homes. They were identified as Ahmed Asafira Sami al-Atowneh and Abdul-Fattah al-Atowneh.

In Tulkarem the IOF kidnaped a young man called Ameer Ajjaj from his home in Seida town.

Another citizen were taken prisoner during an IOF raid on his house in Qabatiya town southwest of Jenin.

The IOF also raided the house of ex-detainee Sa’ed Abul-Baha in Beitunia in the west of Ramallah and confiscated his car.

Clashes also broke out between local youths and Israeli soldiers after the latter stormed neighborhoods in the cities of Ramallah Bireh and Jericho.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday night raided several homes in the West Bank and kidnapped two Palestinian citizens.

According to local sources the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped an ex-detainee called Hussein Bassous a resident of al-Jalazoun refugee camp at a checkpoint near Jerusalem.

The IOF also detained some West Bank young men for one and a half hours after they returned from the Aqsa Mosque through the Qalandiya crossing.

Another young man whose identity is still unknown was taken prisoner near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil city after soldiers shot and injured him.

Meanwhile the IOF stormed and ransacked at dawn some homes in at-Tuwani village east of Yatta in al-Khalil with no reported arrests.

Earlier the IOF stormed Qusra town southeast of Nablus several hours after settlers infiltrated into an area in Asira al-Qibliya and set fire to cultivated fields near the illegal settlement of Yitzhar.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Sunday raided several homes and kidnapped Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF kidnapped five citizens from different West Bank areas.

Two of those detainees were identified as Muhanad Jaradat and Hamza al-Darabie and they were taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in Sa’ir town and Dura town in al-Khalil.

The IOF also raided homes in al-Khalil city az-Zawiya town in Salfit and Shuweika area in Tulkarem with no reported arrests.

Last night the IOF rounded up a Palestinian farmer called Tahseen Hamed from Shufa village in Tulkarem as he was working his land near the illegal settlement of Avnei Hefetz.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Sunday stormed different West Bank areas raided homes and kidnapped some Palestinian citizens amid skirmishes with local young men.

In Nablus city local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli troops aboard more than 10 military vehicles stormed the city from the western side and stationed near an apartment building in Sufiyan neighborhood.

Soon later Israeli soldiers broke into and ransacked the apartments of two young men identified as Abdul-Salam al-Quqa and Ameed al-Nuri and rounded them up.

The sources added that the IOF clashed with angry young men for several hours in the neighborhood during which they fired live ammunition and tear gas and stun grenades to disperse them.

Eyewitnesses also said that the same military force came under stone-throwing attack by other young men after they withdrew from Nablus and arrived in Deir Sharaf town.

In Tulkarem violent clashes broke out after Israeli soldiers stormed the city.

Local sources said that many young men suffered from their exposure to teargas fumes during skirmishes with the soldiers.

In a separate incident the IOF kidnapped two young men from Jaba town in Jenin at a military checkpoint between Nablus and Ramallah.

According to eyewitnesses soldiers stopped a public car on the Nablus-Ramallah road and searched it for a while before rounding up two young passengers called Sameh Fakhouri and Ahmed Alawneh.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Thursday stormed different areas of the West Bank and kidnapped at least 14 Palestinian citizens from their homes.

In Nablus local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers aboard patrol vehicles stormed homes in al-Etihad neighborhood and kidnapped a young man called Kamel al-Basha after raiding his family house.

The soldiers also clashed with local young men in the neighborhood and used tear gas and live ammunition to disperse them.

Similar clashes took place in other neighborhoods of Nablus with soldiers with no reported arrests.

In al-Khalil Israeli troops stormed the towns of Beit Sa’ir and Beit Ummar raided several homes and kidnapped two young men from their homes.

Three brothers from the family of Ibrahim Akhlil also received summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet during the IOF campaign in Beit Ummar town.

In Ramallah the IOF raided several areas and kidnapped two young men identified as Rashad Hammad and Ra’fat Hamed from Silwad town.

The IOF also stormed Qalandia refugee camp and kidnapped two young men called Rashed Hamad and Ahmed Abdul-Raouf.
