An Israeli soldier died late Wednesday while three others were injured after a tank crashed and flipped over during a military training exercise in the occupied Golan Heights.
The soldier was identified as Sgt. Ido Ben-Ari a 20-year-old tank commander in the 401st Brigade from Ramat Hasharon settlement.
The Israeli army has opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident Israeli media sources said.
The sources pointed out that the Israeli army decided to stop the military training which began last Sunday in the area.
