Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened heavy machinegun fire at agricultural lands east of Khan Yunis south of the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
Local sources said that IOF fired at farmers’ lands and at a sewage suction truck which was heading to the border area east of the city without any injuries reported.
The IOF soldiers always target farmers in the border areas in the north and south of the Strip and prevent them from accessing their lands.
During the past two days IOF emptied large quantities of water from its dams into farmers’ lands in the north and south of the Strip. This caused damage to hundreds of dunums of cultivated land.
