AL-KHALIL (PIC)– IOF soldiers abducted Palestinian MP Hatem Qufaisha from his home in Al-Khalil city at a late hour Monday after thoroughly searching it.
Witnesses said that the soldiers’ savage search of the house destroyed its furniture and at the end of their barbaric search they took away the Hamas MP.
Qufaisha was released from Israeli occupation jails only three months ago after serving a number of administrative detention periods without charge or trial.
The MP was elected while in jail and won 53000 votes in Al-Khalil district.
The IOF detains 44 PLC members mostly affiliated with Hamas for more than a year now in a bid to obstruct work of the PLC in which Hamas has a majority of seats.
