A Syrian man was injured by Israeli army fire on Monday morning after he approached the border on the occupied Golan Heights.
According to news reports the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) spotted four suspects approaching the border fence and throwing objects toward it.
According to an IOF spokesperson several soldiers rushed to the scene and arrested one of the suspects after opening fire at him.
As a result of the shooting one of the men was injured in his abdomen and evacuated by a helicopter to an Israeli hospital.
The IOF said it was investigating the incident.
