Nearly 17 Palestinians were arrested in overnight raid campaigns launched by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) into the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The PIC reporter said that the IOF at dawn Monday arrested four Palestinian citizens in a raid into Nablus.
Eyewitnesses said that the IOF soldiers stormed Khillat al-Iman neighborhood in Nablus broke into houses belonging to relatives of Abdulkarim Asi a Palestinian youth accused of carrying out an anti-occupation stabbing attack lately and arrested his uncle Naser Asi.
Clashes broke out in the area during the raid in which a number of Palestinians were injured by rubber bullets.
In a related context the IOF at dawn launched a large-scale search operation against Palestinian houses in Qalqilya city.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that dozens of Israeli soldiers were deployed at the entrances to several towns in Qalqilya adding that four Palestinians including a child were arrested in the campaign.
Three Palestinian youths were arrested in break-ins in Bethlehem while six others were arrested in Jerusalem.
