Many Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) following marches that kicked off in the Gaza Strip. The marches set off on the 16th Friday of anger against the US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and his intention to relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to the holy city on the 70th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba.
The PIC reporter quoted the Ministry of Health in Gaza as saying that 9 Palestinians were wounded including a serious injury north of Beit Hanoun city. Three other Palestinians were moderately injured near Nahal Oz barrier east of Gaza and a fourth mild injury was reported east of Khan Younis. Four residents were also moderately wounded in the feet east of al-Buraij refugee camp.
