The Israeli occupation army at dawn Saturday launched aerial and artillery attacks on different areas of the embattled Gaza Strip.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that Israeli warplanes bombed at least three sites in Gaza two belonging to the Palestinian resistance as worshipers finished the dawn prayer and started to leave Mosques.
Earlier the Israeli artillery bombed after midnight two resistance sites in central and southern Gaza.
No one was hurt in the attacks which reportedly caused material damage to the bombed locations.
Last night the Palestinian resistance fired several rockets towards Israeli settlements around Gaza in support of Jerusalem and its people who were exposed to organized violent attacks by Jewish settlers and police forces in the last two days.
According to the Hebrew media rocket sirens were activated several times in Jewish communities near Gaza as at least 15 projectiles were fired from Gaza at Israeli areas in multiple salvos Friday night.
The Hebrew media claimed that Israel’s anti-missile system (Iron Dome) intercepted four of the 18 projectiles and the others landed in open areas.
The rocket fire from Gaza took place several hours after Palestinians in the Strip held massive protests in solidarity with Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque and called for retaliatory attacks against the Israeli occupation state in the wake of police-backed settler violence in the holy city.
