14 Rockets were fired from Gaza at Israeli Sderot settlement on Friday night eight of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system Israeli media sources claimed.
Rocket alert sirens sounded several times in Israeli community of Sderot near the Gaza border the sources added.
The incident came hours after five Palestinians were killed by Israeli military fire – four in the weekly protests on the Israel-Gaza border and one in clashes in the West Bank.
