Head of Hamas political bureau abroad Khaled Mishaal has mourned the Palestinian resistance fighters who were assassinated by Israeli occupation forces during a dawn raid on the West Bank city of Nablus.
In a press statement on Tuesday Mishaal stressed that such an Israeli crime asserts that resistance is the only means to confront Israel adding that Israeli officials are exploiting attacks on Palestinians to boost their election chances.
“The blood of Palestinian martyrs paves the way to return and liberation despite the Israeli cold-blooded killings large-scale campaigns of arrest and the illegal blockade on the cities of Jenin and Nablus” Mishaal affirmed
He concluded that the killing of Palestinians only strengthens the resistance’s front and renews the spirit of resistance calling on the Palestinian people to turn the Palestinian cities and villages into fortresses of resistance until full liberation of the Palestinian lands.
Earlier at dawn a large number of Israeli soldiers stormed the city of Nablus killing five Palestinian resistance fighters and injuring scores of Palestinians.
