TULKARM (PIC)– The Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has categorically denied the news broadcast by the Palestine TV controlled by Fatah faction alleging that some of its fighters had turned in their weapons in the West Bank.
“Shocking and offensive was the falsified news broadcast by the Palestine TV claiming that fighters from the brigades (Abu Ali Mustafa) had turned in their weapons” the brigades stated in a press release received by the PIC describing such a report as “poisoned news”.
It highlighted that none of its fighters had turned in a single bullet to the PA security forces in West Bank emphasizing its refusal of the Israeli “amnesty” out of “its firm conviction that this is one of the desperate attempts to undermine the unity of the resistance and the Palestinian people and its belief that the fighters who resisted struggled and fought for freedom do not beg pardon from the Israeli occupation.”
“The resistance has nevertheless continued and intensified as a result of the mass rally backing it in its capacity as the only option to get rid of the Israeli occupation and the only way to defend our people against this arrogant enemy and its war machine “it said.
For his part Abu Mujahid the spokesman of Annasser Salahuddin Brigades the armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees confirmed in a press release on Sunday that the Israeli decision to stop pursuing a number of Fatah-affiliated operatives in the West Bank “comes within the framework of an agreement between PA chief Mahmoud Abbas and the IOA to undermine and circumvent the Palestinian resistance.”
“This scheme will be a disaster on the resistance fighters whom the false amnesty included” Abu Mujahid stated underscoring the fact that the “Zionist enemy can never grant an amnesty to any person that fought against them.”
He warned the Palestinian resistance from Israel’s false positions saying: “We have a considerable experience with occupation; perhaps those who were granted amnesty by the IOA originally had nothing to do with the Palestinian resistance or it may be merely a cosmetic decor.”
He highlighted that the brigades’ fighters along with the other resistance brigades in the West Bank would keep on fighting the Israeli occupation without yielding to the conspiratorial plans against the Palestinian resistance.
