JENIN (PIC)– Palestinian captives in the Israeli Jalama prison were dissatisfied with the ongoing aggression of Fatah vandals on Hamas cadres and institutions in the West Bank urging Fatah to heed Hamas’ call for national dialogue.
The prisoners also urged all parties to practice self-restraint and to avoid anything that could harm Palestinian national unity; especially that the West Bank did not witness any factional disputes in the past.
They also warned that pushing the West Bank into the quagmire of internal infighting would only serve Israel’s interests and agenda in the area adding that Fatah and Hamas Movements have no option but to sit together and resolve their disputes in a brotherly atmosphere.
Hamas’ political leadership had repeatedly called on Fatah faction to be rational and prudent enough and to resort to national dialogue instead of carrying out suspicious and unpatriotic acts in the West Bank.
In a related matter Hamas Movement affirmed that elements of the mutiny trend within Fatah and the PA security apparatuses carried out 21 aggressions against Hamas cadres and institutions on Monday despite the allegations of giving general amnesty.
Most of the atrocities concentrated in the northern part of the West Bank including Salfit Nablus and Tulkarm cities where the mutineers kidnapped Hamas cadres dissolved two elected local municipal councils under Hamas and replaced them with members from Fatah.
The mutineers also stormed Hamas-affiliated charities clinics and social welfare societies that had been serving the Palestinian people for decades.
The hooligans had earlier torched house of jailed PLC speaker Dr. Aziz Dwaik and broke through the PLC headquarters before manhandling PLC second-deputy speaker MP Hassan Khuraisha and dragging him out of the building.
Resistance in West Bank alive and active:
In spite of the Fatah vandals’ atrocities in the West Bank Palestinian resistance fighters proved that they were still alive and active in fighting the IOF troops as they blocked Israeli occupation soldiers that raided Jenin city and engaged them in fierce armed clashes.
According to Hebrew sources three hand grenades were hurled by the fighters at the invading IOF troops and intensively shot at them. No immediate reports on causalities were unveiled.
PA security elements loyal to PA chief Abbas and elements of Fatah vandals were attacking and burning Hamas-affiliated societies and leading wide-scale arrest campaigns amid Hamas cadres’ lines in complementing IOF troops’ mission against Hamas.
