Thousands of Palestinians participated in a massive rally in the central Gaza Strip on Friday in support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian resistance in the West Bank.

Palestinian demonstrators headed from Gaza mosques after the Friday prayer directly to Maydan Falasteen (Palestine Square) in the center of Gaza City.

In his speech at the rally organized by Hamas Movement Hamas leader Maher Sabra hailed the bravery of the Palestinian resistance fighters in the West Bank especially the Arin al-Osoud (Lions’ Den) armed group who renewed the hope of unified Palestinian resistance.

Leader Sabra stressed that Gaza has its “hands on the trigger” adding that Palestinian resistance in Gaza will always support the freedom fighters in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Sabra warned Israel that Jerusalem is a red line affirming that the Israeli occupation’s violations in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque will not deter Palestinians from defending their lands and rights.

He added that the Palestinian people will always be the spearhead in defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the repeated settlers’ raids and desecrations.

Thousands of Palestinians participated in a massive rally in the northern Gaza Strip on Friday in support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian resistance fighters in the West Bank.

Palestinian demonstrators headed from the mosques of the Jabalia refugee camp after the Friday prayer chanting slogans in support of Al-Aqsa and paying tribute to the Palestinian martyr Uday at-Tamimi.

In his speech at the rally organized by Hamas member of the Movement’s political bureau Suhail al-Hindi hailed the bravery of martyr at-Tamimi calling on all the Palestinian freedom fighters all around Palestine to follow his footsteps until full liberation of the Palestinian lands and holy sites.

Al-Hindi hailed the steadfastness of Palestinians in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem who have been defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque calling on the Muslim and Arab nations to shoulder their responsibility in protecting the holy site.

For her part martyr Ibrahim al-Nabulsi’s mother via a phone call voiced her support to the mothers of all Palestinian martyrs stressing that the blood of the martyrs will not go in vain and will pave the way to the Palestinian victory.

Earlier on Wednesday Palestinian resistance fighter at-Tamimi was killed during armed clashes with Israeli security guards at the entrance of the illegal settlement of Ma’ale Adumim.

Palestinian resistance activities have been escalating in the West Bank and Jerusalem in response to the ongoing Israeli violations against Palestinian citizens in addition to the repeated Jewish settlers’ break-ins into Al-Aqsa Mosque facilitated by the tight protection of Israel police.
