The family of the Palestinian detainee Rizq Al-Rajoub on Tuesday raised concerns over his fate after he has gone on an open-ended hunger strike in Israeli jail.
The family said al-Rajoub from al-Khalil province started an open-ended hunger strike in protest at being held arbitrarily in Israeli jails.
Al-Rajoub was released from Israeli jails last week after he had spent 28 months in administrative detention without charge or trial.
The detainee had been held for a total of 23 years in Israeli lock-ups. Al-Rajoub was then arrested on charges of his involvement in plans for anti-occupation attacks in the early 90’s and for sheltering resistance activists.
