GAZA (PIC)– One of the field commanders of the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of the Hamas Movement on Sunday survived an assassination attempt at the hands of a group of armed men in central Gaza.
Local sources said that the gunmen fired at Jamal Al-Hindi near his home in Breij refugee camp before speeding away in their car.
They added that a child was wounded in the attempt and was hospitalized in Deir Al-Balah where his condition was described as moderate while Jamal escaped unharmed.
Meanwhile Fatah militants fired at a peaceful march organized by Hamas also in Breij that grouped hundreds of students and children.
