The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday night detained two Palestinian young men for a while at a roadblock near Qalqilya city north of the West Bank.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers set up a makeshift checkpoint on the road between Qalqiliya city and Izbat Attayeb village and obstructed the movement of passing vehicles.
They added that the soldiers detained two young passengers for some hours but released them later before removing barriers from the road and withdrawing from the area.
Meanwhile the IOF soldiers intensified their presence near Azzun town east of Qalqilya and set up another checkpoint on a nearby road.
