NABLUS (PIC)– The Israeli occupation authority has handed inhabitants of Aqraba village southeast of Nablus city on Sunday notifications that a mosque and six of their homes would be flattened locals reported.
They charged that the IOA wants to evacuate the entire village of Aqraba after 90% of its land used in grazing (the main livelihood for the villagers) was confiscated and distributed to four Jewish settlements surrounding the village.
The sources also pointed out that four of the village inhabitants were killed at the hands of settlers in those settlements over the past few years.
They noted that the settlers recently escalated their attacks and planted roadside bombs one of which lately blasted killing a man and wounding a child.
