GAZA (PIC)– Abu Obeida the spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas warned Israel of the consequences of any follies it might commit against the Palestinian people in Gaza stressing that the armed wing is fully geared up to defend its people.
In an exclusive statement to the PIC Abu Obeida underlined that the Israeli threats to wage a new war on Gaza confirm beyond doubt that the last war failed to achieve its objectives.
Regarding the Brigades’ readiness to counter any possible Israeli military aggression on Gaza the spokesman said that Al-Qassam fighters always get themselves ready to repel any attack.
“We are away from any political analysis and forecasts. All we say that it is an enemy and we do not trust it at all” the spokesman replied to a question about his expectations of a new Israeli attack.
Commenting on the tent pitched by the parents of captive Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit outside the house of outgoing Israeli premier Ehud Olmert he said that if Israel did not fulfill the demands of the Palestinian resistance the Shalit parents have to firmly nail down their tent.
