GAZA (PIC)– Dr. Mahmoud Al-Khazindar the deputy chairman of the society of owners of petrol stations in Gaza Strip has warned of a big crisis that would paralyze vital sectors in the Strip if Israel continued to ban entry of fuel.
Khazindar in a press statement published on Sunday said that Israel was linking entry of fuel supplies to the progress in the prisoners exchange deal and to the improvement in the security conditions (firing of missiles).
He described such a policy as a new pressure tool on the Palestinians that would lead to doubling their sufferings.
The diesel quantities that were smuggled through the tunnels with Egypt were about to run out the petrol official warned adding that the depletion of diesel would freeze all life activities in the Strip.
