DAMASCUS (PIC)– The supreme follow up committee of the Palestinian National Congress (PNC) has announced Saturday it rejects all forms of direct or indirect negotiations with the Zionist enemy deprecating the arrest campaign against Palestinian resistance in the West Bank.
The committee held a meeting in the Syrian capital Damascus attended by leaders of Palestinian factions including Khaled Mishaal the head of Hamas’s political bureau among others.
The conferees also warned of the adverse results of such negotiations and vowed to take all the necessary steps to foil it explaining that the Ramallah team which champions such negotiations doesn’t represent the Palestinian people and thus doesn’t possess the mandate to carry out any form of negotiations on behalf of the Palestinian people.
They also highlighted the resistance option as the effective path to protect the Palestinian issue and to retrieve the usurped Palestinian rights underscoring the need to end the Palestinian political division and to halt all forms of security coordination with the Israeli occupation authority.
Moreover the factions’ leaders called for the immediate break of the unjust Israeli siege on Gaza Strip and to confront the Israeli schemes against the occupied city of Jerusalem and its Palestinian inhabitants.
