NABLUS (PIC)– Hamas has warned on Tuesday Palestinian resistance factions in the West Bank city of Nablus that the IOF troops might intensify their aggressions on the city before PA security forces could be deployed there.
In a statement it issued in the West Bank and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC Hamas called on Palestinian resistance fighters from Hamas Fatah Islamic Jihad and PFLP to double their security measures in anticipation of possible IOF attack.
The Movement explained that the IOF troops are planning to hit infrastructure of the Palestinian resistance in the city with the aim to facilitate the mission of PA security forces loyal to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas in the city before they could be deployed there based on the Israeli-PA security plan.
PA security and intelligence departments in the West Bank were and still are coordinating security plans against Palestinian resistance fighters in the region in clear implementation of the ill-fated roadmap plan.
In this concern Hamas urged the PA security forces in the city to fight criminals vandals and those spreading mischief in the Palestinian arena; and to avoid fighting Palestinian resistance fighters as Israel desires.
The Movement also confirmed readiness of the Palestinian resistance factions to help PA security forces in this regard.
“Hamas and other Palestinian resistance factions are supporting any Palestinian effort to restore law and order in the city based on the fact that Nablus was and still is the bastion of resistance and mustn’t compromise that title” the Movement underlined in the statement.
Hamas was apparently reacting to statement uttered by the district’s governor that he will confiscate weapons of Palestinian resistance fighters and will arrest anyone encouraging resistance against the Israeli occupation.
The Movement also deplored the governor’s request to waive the immunity of a number of Palestinian lawmakers in order to “prosecute” them for instigating the Palestinian people against the Israeli occupation.
“This is an unprecedented insult to the Palestinian people as the governor might forgot that those lawmakers are representatives of the Palestinian people and duly elected by them in honest and democratic elections in addition to the fact that Hamas Movement had reaped the great majority of the PLC seats in those elections” the Movement asserted in the statement.
Interior ministry officials in Abbas’s jails:
In a related matter PA interior ministry in Gaza city held the “unconstitutional” PA government of Salam Fayyadh in Ramallah city fully responsible for the safety of senior PA interior ministry official in the West Bank Ahmad Doula and Anas Enjas one of the ministry’s employees in Ramallah.
Doula and Enjas were reportedly humiliated and tortured by PA security forces loyal to Abbas despite their deteriorating health conditions.
Hundreds of Hamas’s supporters in the West Bank were arrested and tortured at the hands of Abbas’s armed militias. Tens of them were rushed to hospitals in bad health conditions despite the Movement’s call on Abbas’s security forces to stop those harmful practices that according to the Movement will put Palestinian national unity at risk.
In Salfeet city north of the West Bank family of Palestinian teacher and head of the Palestinian teachers’ syndicate in the city Abdul Naser Al-Kaood expressed anxiety over his health condition after he was tortured by elements of the infamous PA preventive security apparatus and rushed to hospital for treatment.
