Injuries in attacks on peaceful marches against wall and settlement

RAMALLAH (PIC)– Dozens of Palestinian citizens and foreign peace activists sustained injuries and suffocation on Friday when Israeli troops fired at them rubber bullets and tear gas grenades during their marches against the segregation wall and settlement expansion.

In Kafr Addik village to the west of Salfit city dozens of protesters marched towards the Palestinian lands threatened with annexation in Deir Samaan area and performed Friday’s prayers there.

The protesters including foreign activists chanted slogans against the Israeli occupation settlement activities annexation of lands and demolition of homes but Israeli soldiers responded by firing rubber bullets and tear gas grenades at them causing injuries and suffocation among them.

The Israeli occupation forces also attacked the weekly march in Masarah village northwest of Ramallah city and detained two protesters one of them was a foreign activist.

Speeches were delivered by some participants and they all stressed the need to continue the peaceful struggle and resistance against the occupation and make the Palestinian voice heard by the international community.
