IOF soldiers round up 5 Palestinians storm home of disabled

AL-KHALIL (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up five Palestinian citizens in three West Bank provinces at dawn Thursday and stormed the home of a disabled father in Al-Khalil last night local sources reported.

The Hebrew radio said that five Palestinians were detained in Ramallah Tulkarem and Al-Khalil adding that they were wanted for involvement in attacks on Israeli targets.

Eyewitnesses said that IOF jeeps stormed Arub refugee camp in Al-Khalil and took away two Palestinians after ransacking their homes.

IOF troops closed entrances to Al-Khalil city and blocked the main entrance to Fawar refugee camp.

Also in Al-Khalil a big number of IOF soldiers encircled the home of a disabled Palestinian and stormed it using dogs which terrorized the family consisting of the parents and five children.

Sources close to the family said that more than 200 heavily-armed Israeli soldiers took part in the attack on the house of Badwan Abu Mayala 36 in Qaytun suburb in Al-Khalil city.

They said that Abu Mayala was hit with a bullet in his head during the intifada and had speaking difficulty in addition to disability in 70% of his body.

Abu Mayala who is unemployed said that none of his family members could do anything against occupation in view of his family’s condition some of whom also suffer various disabilities.
