DAMASCUS (PIC)– Member of Hamas’s political bureau Ezzat Al-Resheq categorically denied what reported by Debka news website about his Movement’s intention to change its headquarters in Damascus and move to another country.
Debka a Zionist website loyal the right-wing Israeli government had claimed there were secret points in this regard agreed upon by the US Egypt Hamas and Israel as part of the recent prisoner swap deal.
“What was reported by this website was unfounded media fabrications and this is a Zionist security website concerned with disturbing this deal and tarnishing the great historic victory that was achieved by Hamas” Resheq stated in a press release on Monday.
“Hamas has never sought to replace its presence in Damascus with alternative headquarters elsewhere and will not do so” he emphsized.
