TOBAS (PIC)– A solidarity sit-in was staged on Wednesday in front of the home of Mohammed Al-Taj who is held in Israeli detention and suffers a difficult health condition.
The detainee’s mother told the rally and a press conference that her son’s health condition had seriously deteriorated.
She said that Mohammed who is serving a 14-year sentence since 2003 started to complain of stomachache severe cough and breathing difficulty in 2005. Prison doctors gave him only sedatives saying that he was only suffering from stomach pain she said.
The mother underlined that her son’s breathing started to stop for separate intervals 20 days ago and when he was taken to hospital doctors found out that he suffered from Hypoxemia or low blood oxygen describing this condition as very serious.
