NEGEV (PIC)– Israeli Masada unit soldiers stormed ward 9 of the Negev prison where Hamas and Islamic Jihad affiliates are held on Wednesday the prisoners’ studies center said.
It said in a report that the soldiers remained in those cells until a late hour on Wednesday recalling that this unit did not assault the prison since 2007.
The center said that the unit has a record of criminal behavior noting that it joined in the attack on the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara that was heading to Gaza Strip with humanitarian aid on board.
The center pointed out that Jihad prisoners who were transferred from Negev to other prisons were detained in isolation cells.
