GAZA (PIC)– Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri one of the Hamas spokesmen in the Gaza Strip has strongly denied press reports that Hamas was ready to halt resistance operations against occupation in return for opening crossings in the Gaza Strip.
Abu Zuhri described the report in a press release on Thursday as completely baseless asserting that Hamas was committed to all forms of resistance in defense of the Palestinian people.
He underlined that his Movement was ready to ensure security of all Gaza terminals without giving any other commitment regarding resistance.
The spokesman said that Hamas was holding contacts with Egyptian officials considering the Rafah terminal an Egyptian-Palestinian affair but noted nothing has been materialized so far.
