Wednesday 20-June-2007

JENIN (PIC)– IOF troops at an early hour Wednesday killed two Palestinian resistance commanders in Kufr Dan village Jenin district after a fierce battle in which the two commanders bravely fought the invading troops before their martyrdom.

Local sources said that more than 35 armored vehicles accompanied by a bulldozer stormed the village at dawn and clashed with the commanders for six hours.

They identified the murdered operatives as Ibrahim Al-Abed 33 the founder of Abu Ammar Brigades and Ziad Malaisha 24 one of the field commanders of the Quds Brigades the armed wing of Islamic Jihad in Jenin district.

The sources said that occupation forces broke into the house where the commanders were entrenched in the western suburb of the town but the two managed to flee the house after a fierce clash before an Israeli drone fired missiles at them leading to their instant martyrdom.

The sources said that the soldiers dragged the two bodies for 300 meters and fired at them to ensure their death.

Other sources said that both were besieged in one of the houses in the village where violent clashes took place and the IOF units fired projectiles and heavy machineguns at the house killing both.

Villagers said that the atmosphere was one of a real war and they described the clashes between the IOF soldiers and the two activists as “severe and violent”.

Meanwhile IOF soldiers on Wednesday morning kidnapped five Palestinians in Nablus city and Balata refugee camp including two brothers and came under fire in Balata.
