QALQILIA (PIC)– A Palestinian youth was killed and many others wounded in IOF troops’ shooting during a pre-dawn incursion into the West Bank city of Qalqilia on Thursday locals reported.
They said that the IOF unit members fired at Yassin Yassin in Kfar Saba suburb in the city while besieging a number of houses in the area.
IOF command sent into the city armored vehicles and Hummers in addition to army choppers that backed storming operations of civilian homes in the city.
Medical teams told PIC that the situation in Nakar suburb in the city was “serious” as the IOF soldiers blocked entry of ambulance vehicles.
The IOF troops imposed a curfew on the city immediately after advancing into it in more than 40 military vehicles other than a number of bulldozers that partially demolished houses to clear the way before the army vehicles into certain areas amidst intensive firing.
