Six Palestinians wounded in Israeli air raids

GAZA (PIC)– Israeli warplanes at dawn Sunday bombarded three areas in the Gaza Strip at the pretext of retaliating to the firing of locally made resistance missiles at Israeli targets.

Local sources said that the first raid blasted a studies and research center affiliated with the Islamic Jihad Movement the second a foundry and the third warehouses.

They said that the raids wounded six persons and inflicted severe material damage in addition to creating a state of chaos and panic in the targeted areas.

Medical sources said that three citizens were injured in the air raid on the foundry in Gaza city two were wounded north of Gaza and one in the raid on the studies center west of the city.

The sources appealed to civilians to make way before the medical and civil squad teams to enable them perform their duty and to preserve their lives fearing other raids might follow.

The raids came only hours after a joint commando unit of Islamic Jihad and Fatah factions attacked the IOF positions in Kissufim east of Khan Younis city.
