I never really wished I would write these words about the Lebanese Shiite militia calling itself Hezbollah or the party of God. As evident from my writings and numerous articles I was always supportive of that militia and its leader Hasan Nasrullah.
However everything has changed now as the Lebanese group has unmasked its sectarian ugly face exposing its criminal and murderous nature by siding with the Nazi-like tyrannical regime of Bashar El-Assad.
Hence I must regret and apologize for every word I had ever written in praise of the nefarious group. I was deceived and beguiled by the rhetoric of sectarian gang. I hope and pray that the Almighty will forgive me for praising the wrong doers.
Hezbollah and other Shiite groups always prided themselves on championing the causes of the oppressed. However the manifestly murderous role of the Lebanese militia in the town of al-Qusir and other places in Syria has exposed the Lebanese Shiite group as it really is a professional murderous gang blinded by hatred for Sunni Muslims.
According to news reports the first thing Hezbollah fighters did upon entering the bombed-out town of al-Qusir was to hoist their sectarian flag on the rooftop of Omar ibn al-Khattab Mosque.
“Labyka ya Hussein” Labyka ya Mahdi” and other repulsive sectarian slogans were shouted. Curses of religious Sunni Islamic symbols were also heard which really shows that Hezbollah’s main motivation behind its involvement in the Syrian quagmire was sectarian first and foremost.
Some eyewitnesses have intimated to this journalist that they saw some Hezbollah fighters murder totally innocent people while hysterically shouting “Ya Hussein Ya Zahra Ya Abbas.”
So they are murdering children in Hussein’s name which really makes one wonder what sort of Islam these murderous thugs claim to follow?
Imam Hussein the grandson of the Prophet Muhammed is highly regarded by all Muslims as a great martyr because he refused to pledge allegiance to Yazid the purportedly unrighteous Umayyad Caliph.
He refused to pledge allegiance to the unjust rule of the Umayyads. As a consequence he left Madina his hometown from where he traveled to Mecca and then after the people of Kufa sent letters to him pledging him allegiance he set of for Kufa.
The people of Kufa (who were Shiites) then broke their pledge and on the way his caravan was intercepted and he was killed and beheaded in the Battle of Karabala in 680 (61 AH) by Shimr Ibn Thil-Jawshan. The annual memorial for him his family his children and his companions is called Ashura (tenth day of Muharram) and is a day of mourning for Shiites. Many Shiites blame Sunni Muslims for Hussein’s martyrdom. However historical facts show that the imam was actually betrayed and murdered by his own Shiite supporters.
There is no doubt that any analogy between the epical martyrdom of Imam Hussein and the ongoing Syrian bloodbath must be held in reverse as Shiites fighters are definitely siding with a Yazid-like tyrant who is void of any real Islamic or moral credentials. This is what many conscientious Shiite leaders in Lebanon and elsewhere believe people like the founder of Hezbollah Subhi Tufeli and others.
Yazid may be responsible for killing Imam Hussein but Bashar el-Assad has the blood of a hundred thousand people squarely on his criminal hands. This in addition to hundreds of thousands of injuries as well as the virtual destruction of Syria- carried out in order to prolong the sectarian rule of Assad’s heretical sect.
This sect which tightly controls the Syrian army and security apparatus has really nothing to do with Islam. Some Shiite “Ulema” or religious scholars such as the late Musa al-Sdre (widely believed to have been murdered by the Libyan intelligence during a visit to the North African country in 1978) had issued religious edicts declaring the Alawites bona fide Shiites. But in truth the edicts were exceedingly politically motivated as the bulk of Shiite scholars had always ruled that the Alawites were apostates and outside the realm of Islam. The Alawites worship Ali Prophet Muhammed’s cousin and son-in-law. As God-incarnate and rejects the main pillars of Islam.
Shiite scholars are well aware of these solid facts. However it seems that their hatred of Sunni Muslims overrides any concerns about the religious validity of the Alawite sect.
I believe that despite their heretical nature the Alawites are entitled to equal rights as Syrian citizens. However these people have no right whatsoever to subjugate other Syrians (e.g. Sunni Muslims who constitute up to 78% of Syria ‘s population) using murder and terror.
This is what Hezbollah or more correctly Hizbul Shaytan or party of Satan ought to understand because Sunni Muslims won’t succumb to this sectarian hysteria that is being encouraged and funded by Tehran.
Another dimension of Hezbollah’s murderous intervention in Syria on the side of the Hitler of Damascus is the hollow claim that these fanatical thugs are slaughtering Syrian Sunni children for the sake of the resistance and Palestine. Well this is a shameless criminal lie that goes beyond the pale of logic and commonsense. It is a lie a canard that is uglier than sin.
Indeed since when the liberation of Palestine was to be expedited by massacring Syrian citizens who demand freedom from a manifestly murderous tyrant that is hell-bent on annihilating his own people in order to prolong the life span of his family in power?
We in Palestine totally condemn Hezbollah’s crimes in Syria which is being perpetrated in the name of resistance and Palestine whereas the naked truth is that Hezbollah’s real goal is to expedite the so-called Shiite crescent extending from Tehran to the Mediterranean.
A final word to Sunni states in the region: why are you being so reticent and cowardly? Are you that impotent? Are you going to wait until the gangs of millenarian Shiites converge on Makka and Madina to destroy the Kaaba and unearth the grave of the Prophet of Muhammed and his two companions Abu Bakr and Omar?
