The Syrian people needs our help now

Monday 3-June-2013

The Syrian people especially Sunni Muslims who constitute close to 80% of the population are being systematically exterminated with religious fervor at the hands of Shiite fanatics coming from Iran Iraq Lebanon and Yemen in addition to the Syrian army itself largely made up of members of the heretical Alawite sect of President Bashar el-Assad.

Some other Shiites from Bahrain Saudi Arabia Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates have been spotted fighting alongside the forces of the tyrannical regime. Meanwhile Shiites around the world are being mobilized to hasten to the aid of the heretical minority regime which is also supported by Russia.

In some Shiite mosques in Iraq and Iran simple-minded Shiite rabbles are told that the mythical Shiite Messiah or Mahdi is about to reappear in order to destroy Sunni Muslims. The mythical appeal turns some people quite hysterical.

According to Shiite theology books the Mahdi who according to Shiite mythology has been hiding in a cave in Iraq for more than a thousand years will destroy the Kaaba in Mecca to the ground upon his reappearance. He will also unearth the Tomb of the Prophet Muhammed and burn the bones of the first and second caliphs Abu Bakr and Omar.

Moreover he will destroy the Prophet Mosque in Madina and kill millions of Arabs. “Only the sword will be between the Mahdi and the Arabs.” Eventually he will rule the world according to the Sharia of David.

These statements are not inventions or baseless anti-Shiite propaganda. Everything mentioned here is carefully recorded in Shiite religious books. Even the Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock of Jerusalem wouldn’t escape the wrath of the Mahdi. The two mosques are considered as Umayyad palaces by most Shiites. The Umayyads are despised beyond imagination by the Shiites allegedly for arrogating the political authority from the family of the prophet.

Last week Hezbollah’s chief Sheikh Hasan Nasrullah admitted that a large number of the Lebanese Shiite militiamen were fighting Sunni Muslim fighters in Syria especially in the town of al-Qsair. His admission which surprised very few people drew angry reactions from ordinary people in the Arab world who began calling Hezbollah which means the Party of God Hizbu ash-Shaytan or Party of Satan.

According to a recent opinion survey quoted by several pan-Arab Satellite TV outlets 85% of respondents considered Hezbullah an enemy of Arabs and Muslims.

Hezbullah and other Shiite allies of the Assad regime claim that their alliance with the regime is motivated by concerns about the dangers that would face the resistance against America and Israel in case the Assad regime was overthrown by Sunni freedom fighters.

However this logic seems void of any logic as the Assad regime consistently maintained quiet along the Golan Heights ever since the October war with Israel in 1973.

In fact the Syrian regime utterly failed to respond to Israeli attacks and provocations even when Israeli warplanes flew over Assad’s palace in Damascus or indeed when Israel bombed sensitive targets in Damascus last month.

This brings us to the real motive behind the dark embrace between Hezbollah and the manifestly atheistic regime in Damascus namely the sectarian anti-Sunni blindness of the Lebanese Shiite militia.

The truth of the matter is that the real Shiites’ motive behind their hysterical and rabid involvement in Syria has absolutely nothing to do with Israel and the Resistance or the Palestinian issue. But it has everything to do with ancient Shiite hatred of Sunni Muslims. The Shiite especially the religious leadership are dreaming of creating a Shiite empire extending from the western borders of Pakistan to the Mediterranean coast with Iran constituting the Central Nervous System of that empire while Iraq Lebanon and Syria functioning as satellite states. This is the Shiite crescent that the late King Hussein of Jordan warned against in the 1990s when many of us thought the King was hallucinating or indulging in excessive exaggerations and hyper-boles.

Today millenarian Shiites are slaughtering Sunni Muslims including children with a macabre vehemence reminiscent of the Middle Ages. They think this is their chance to avenge the martyrdom of Hussein more than 1350 years ago. Their goal is never Israel or the United States or the “forces of world arrogance” as they claim. Their goal is me and you Their goal is to destroy the Grand Mosque in Mecca and transform it into a Persian pagan Temple. Their aim is to punish Omar Ibn al-Khattab retrospectively for conquering Persia in the seventh century. Don’t the Shiites venerate and glorify the murderer of Omar?

I realize that Muslim Sunni powers are not in the best shape. Egypt is facing more problems than it can solve as secularist forces are trying desperately to destabilize and thwart the fresh democratic experiment. Saudi Arabia although a financial superpower is still a political and military midget despite the tens of billions of dollars squandered on largely useless arms deals with western powers.

Turkey too is having its own problems domestic and otherwise and the overall strategic situation facing the Anatolian country is less than ideal. Pakistan is also facing endless economic and political problems. And Indonesia is too farther away from the Middle East and is not too concerned about Shiite hegemony.

There is only one way Sunni Muslims can counter repulse and defeat Shiite millenarianism. It is Egypt the historical fortress of Sunni Islam.

But in order for Egypt the country of 90 million to protect and defend vulnerable Sunni states such as Saudi Arabia and U.A.E it must be able to stand on its own feet first.

Yes some oil-rich Arab states have been assisting Egypt but this assistance is too meager to enable Egypt to reclaim a central role in the region. It is a “peanut” using the words of former Pakistani President Ziaul-Haq.

Egypt needs a real Marshal Plan a recovery program that would pump at least a hundred billion dollars into the Egyptian economy. This is not a huge sum for countries such as Saudi Arabia which sells a billion dollars’ worth of oil per day.

My suggestion may raise many eyebrows here and there but. I have the right to ask the following question as a Muslim: what would all the Saudi and Kuwaiti billions be worth if the Iranians were to attack and overrun Makka and Medina and declare the Sacred and Prophet Mosques Shiite temples where Shiite pagan rites and rituals are practiced?

The Americans and other westerners will not come to the aid of the Saudis and other Arab Sheikhdoms whose princes and Sheikhs would flee to London and Switzerland “with their tails between their legs” in a matter of a few hours. These people are too un-Islamic and too corrupt to defend themselves and their countries let alone Islamic holy places in Makka and Madina. Who would stand up in defense of Makka and Madina? Al-Waleed ibn Talal? Or perhaps Sheikh Khalifa ibn Zayed?!!!

This is why we must knock the alarm bells all over the Muslim world.

Today if we fail to stop the Shiite murderers and cutthroats in Syria God forbid we will effectively allow them to murder Omar once again and murder Salahuddin once again. We will allow them to destroy our mosques. We will help them suppress and silence the call of Tawhid (monotheism) and allow the pagans to replace it with polytheism where 13 mini-gods are worshipped and beseeched instead of the One True God.

I am not and have never been a “Wahhabi” In fact I am a former fervent supporter of the Iranian revolution and Hezbollah. My numerous writings testify to this fact.

However when I watch Shiites indulge in massacring innocent Sunni children on the ground that an imam was killed more than 1350 years ago I have a religious and moral obligation to rethink my perception toward these people who claim to be Muslim but do in fact every conceivable act of evil under the sun.
