GAZA (PIC)– Fawzi Barhoum one of the Hamas spokesmen in the Gaza Strip on Sunday charged that recent statements by the American security coordinator and the Israeli deputy premier fell in the same line of smearing Hamas and Palestinian resistance.
Barhoum said that Keith Dayton the American coordinator in the Palestinian lands and Israeli deputy PM Shimon Peres voiced similar statements recently in a bid to smear the image of Hamas after picturing it as passing through its weakest stages.
The spokesman affirmed that Hamas was as strong as ever and enjoyed wide popularity in the Palestinian street pointing out that it was the one leading the PA government and enjoying unbeatable majority in the parliament.
Hamas has exposed all Zio-American schemes aimed at disturbing the Palestinian social peace through supporting a certain Palestinian party with money and weapons in a bid to ignite strife and infighting Barhoum underlined.
He said that Israel wants to smear image of resistance before the world asserting that Palestinians would not halt resistance until final defeat of occupation that plants death and destruction in Palestinian lands.
The spokesman concluded saying that Washington was completely biased in favor of the Hebrew state and encouraged a weak Palestinian political system to be easily controlled by Israeli occupation.
