OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Sheikh Ra’ed Salah the leader of the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands on Sunday called on all Palestinian and Arab masses and official and private institutions to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the occupation of the Aqsa Mosque.
He appealed for the commemoration of that occasion to reassert “our everlasting link with the holy site and occupied Jerusalem”.
Sheikh Salah also urged the Arab and Muslim TV networks to accord special focus to that occasion through organizing competitions in various artistic fields and in various languages.
The Islamic leader proposed holding rallies and carnivals in Istanbul or any other city to shed light on the Aqsa Mosque’s plight and to re-invoke spirit of restoring the holy site.
Occupation would one day come to an end and Jerusalem would pose as the capital of the Islamic Caliphate that would spread justice on Earth the Sheikh confidently ended his message.
