JENIN (PIC)– IOF troops kidnapped at dawn Saturday Wasfi Kabaha the PA state minister for the wall and settlements affairs after storming his home in the Jenin city north of West Bank.
Local sources told PIC correspondent that IOF troops mounting dozens of IOF vehicles stormed the Basatin neighborhood in Jenin and surrounded the minister’s house before breaking into and ransacking it. The soldiers confiscated the minister’s documents and computers the sources added.
According to the minister’s wife the IOF troops physically abused her husband and deliberately sabotaged their home.
Kabaha had been kidnapped seven times by the IOF troops in the period 1989 to 2005. He spent nearly six years in different Israeli occupation jails. He was abducted with other PA ministers and MPs on June 29 2006 during which he was subjected to cruel interrogation rounds.
IOF troops on Thursday launched a large-scale kidnap campaign that included 33 Hamas-affiliated officials topped by education minister Dr. Nasser Al-Sha’er a number of PLC members and mayors and members of elected municipal councils among others.
