KHAN YOUNIS (PIC)– Israeli air force has carried out on Thursday night a number of air raids against positions of the Interior Ministry’s Executive Force and a metal workshop in the southern Gaza Strip.
PIC correspondent reported that the Israeli bombing of targets in Rafah and Khan Younis has resulted in casualties amongst passers by and extensive material damage to the targeted buildings.
He also reported that Apachi helicoptors fired at least to rockets at an Executive Force position to the east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Eywitnesses also reported that Bader the Executive Force’s largest compound to the south of Khan Younis was also bombed by Israeli war planes causing material damage at a large scale.
Eyewitnesses also reported that five Palestinian civilians were wounded in the attacks including a boy and a young man whose wounds were described as serious.
Israeli apaches also fired at least one rocket at another executive force position near Sheikh Radwan cemetery. The position was completely destroyed by an earlier air raid on Thursday afternoon and a number of Palestinians were wounded.
A fourth air raid targeted a metal workshop in Rafah causing material damage but no casualties were reported.
Israeli air force also bombed on Thursday night a money exchange shop in the center of Gaza City without causing any casualties. The same shop was the target of a similar attack 10 days ago.
