GAZA (PIC)– Two members of the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas Movement survived an Israeli missile strike at dawn Thursday in Gaza city witnesses reported.
They said that the two fighters were riding in an old white Subaru car when an IOF drone fired at least one missile at them. They added that the two fighters abandoned the vehicle and escaped unharmed after hearing sound of the missile.
The air raid is the third in less than 12 hours on Gaza city where last night two IOF aerial raids destroyed a supplies shop and a currency exchange office which inflicted severe material damage and started fires but no casualties were reported.
However two Palestinians from the AMB the armed wing of Fatah Movement were wounded in another IOF air raid Wednesday night in northern Gaza. Medical sources described their wounds as moderate.
Two IOF soldiers were also injured when they came under fire in northern Gaza Hebrew media reported adding that they were evacuated to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon.
The QB affirmed earlier Wednesday that one of its snipers had directly hit an IOF soldier north of Beit Lahia adding that the soldier was seen falling after the shooting and that the operation was videotaped.
The same armed wing also claimed responsibility on Wednesday evening for firing two locally made missiles at the Israeli settlement of Sderot adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
The Nasser Salahuddin Brigades the armed wing of the popular resistance committees also took the credit for firing two home made missiles at Sderot and Ashkelon. It said that a group of its members also survived an Israeli assassination attempt shortly after firing the rocket at Ashkelon.
Both armed wings said that the attacks were in retaliation to the Israeli assassinations incessant raids on the Strip and the arrests in the West Bank.
