QB fires 40 homemade missiles at Israeli colonies

GAZA (PIC)– The armed wing of Hamas the Qassam Brigades (QB) has announced that its fighters in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning  fired 40 homemade missiles at the nearby Israeli colony of Sderot.

The Israeli radio confirmed that the missiles caused some 30 casualties amongst the settlers of Sderot one of them serious and that classes in the said colony were suspended fearing the fall of more such missiles.

The QB issued a statement in which it said that the attack was to mark to 59th anniversary of the Nakba and serves as a clear message to the Israeli occupation government that Hamas’ battle was is and will remain against occupation and not against the Palestinian people despite the impediments which Israel’s agents in the Palestinian arena try to put before Hamas.

Also on Tuesday Israeli Apache choppers hovered over the eastern part of the Gaza Strip and opened their heavy machinegun fire at Palestinian homes in the area inflicting severe damage on them. No casualties were reported in the aerial raid.

The IOF troops stationed at the eastern borders of Gaza Strip killed eight elements of the PA National Security Forces believing they were Hamas fighters. The Hebrew radio reported that IOF tanks stationed in the area unleashed at least two of their projectiles at the NSF vehicles and killed the eight PA security men.

On Wednesday morning Israeli gunboats opened their machinegun fire at Palestinian fishermen and fishing boats searching for their families’ sustenance but no casualties were reported yet Palestinian security sources revealed.

In addition Palestinian eyewitnesses affirmed that homes of Palestinian citizens in the northern Gaza Strip cities of Beit Lahia and beit Hanon came under heavy shooting by those gunboats prompting a state of confusion among children and women there.
