DAMASCUS (PIC)– Senior political official of the PFLP Dr. Maher Al-Taher has urged the Fatah faction on Tuesday to bridle the mutiny trend within it accusing this trend of pushing the mother faction and the entire Palestinian arena into the abyss.
Taher’s remarks came in reaction to the unfortunate bloody clashes concocted by that mutiny trend within Fatah with the aim to drag Hamas and Fatah factions into internecine that coincided with the 59th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (catastrophe) in 1948 when 78% of Palestine was usurped at the hands of armed Zionist gangs.
However in a statement he made to the PIC Tuesday Taher also invited Hamas Movement to remain prudent as usual and to be aware of the harmful schemes which were designed by that mutiny trend with the aim to drag it into the quagmire of civil war.
In this regard Taher asserted that national dialogue unity and harmony is the only way for the Palestinian people to get rid of the current political and financial crises urging Palestinian parties to rally behind the national project and to stop “gasping” behind fictitious projects and settlement promises that according to him had been dragging on for decades and proved to be mere illusions.
In addition Taher lamented the fact that the Israeli flag is flying in the skies of a number of Arab countries at a time the Israeli occupation government pursuing its savage killing of the Palestinian people and defying international resolutions regarding the Palestinian question.
“Although the Zionist project progressed over the past six decades as evident by the occupation of Palestine; yet I have no doubt that that project is also bearing the seeds of extinction of the Hebrew state” asserted Taher.
Moreover the PFLP leader hailed the Palestinian people for standing up in defense of their national projects despite the back-breaking conspiracies against them asserting that Palestinian resistance is a strategic option for the Palestinian liberation venture.
Finally he called on all Palestinian factions especially Hamas and Fatah among other parties not to fall in the trap of infighting and to enhance national unity instead in order to block the way before agents of Israel who are believed to be behind all the security mess in the Palestinian arena.
