US Human rights organizations have launched an online campaign to demand members of the Congress to work on ending US military funding and aid to Israel, which persists in committing war crimes against the Palestinian people.
This online campaign urges members of the Congress to vote against sending more military funding and aid to Israel to pressure it to stop its war on the Gaza Strip immediately and allow the displaced civilians to return to their neighborhoods.
Recently, US legislators have passed a plan providing $14.5 billion in military aid for Israel.
The aid includes $4bn to replenish Israel’s Iron Dome and David’s Sling missile defense systems and military equipment transferred from US stocks.
Israel already receives $3.8 billion per year in military assistance under a 10-year plan that began in 2016.
The US has given Israel more military assistance than any other country since World War II, providing aid worth more than $124 billion.
Since last October 7, the Israeli occupation army has been using devastating and deadly American weapons in its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, massacring at least 16,248 civilians and counting, mostly women and children.
