GAZA (PIC)– The Islamic Jihad Movement has urged both Hamas and Fatah factions to exercise self restraint in order to block the road before enemies of the Palestinian people who were and still are impatiently awaiting civil war in the Palestinian arena.
Waleed Hillis one of the Movement’s spokesmen in Gaza Strip also called on both Movements to suppress their wounds and to overcome the unfortunate clashes that claimed a number of Palestinian lives.
“We urge both Hamas and Fatah to immediately contain the unfortunate clashes and to bury the divisiveness while in the cradle” Hillis pointed out.
He also invited the Palestinian people to consolidate their ranks and to stand up as one line to confront the Israeli threats against leaders and cadres of the Palestinian resistance factions.
On the other hand the Movement’s information office deprecated the killing of Palestinian journalists Suleiman Al-Ashi and Mohammed Abdo of the newly founded Palestine newspaper who were executed in cold blood at the hands of PA security forces loyal to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas Sunday.
The information office in this regard asserted that journalists mustn’t be harmed or blocked from doing their job and moreover must be provided full protection while covering events on the ground.
