One Israeli female soldier was killed and four others were injured when Palestinian resistance fighters detonated explosive devices at their vehicles in Jenin City, north of the occupied West Bank, at dawn Sunday.
In a communiqué, the Jenin Brigade said that its fighters were able to ambush the Israeli occupation forces and their vehicles in Jenin through detonating multiple explosive devices at them and then showering them with bullets, killing and wounding a number of them.
Israel’s channel 7 said that a female soldier was killed during clashes with gunmen in Jenin refugee camp, while Haaretz website said that four paramilitary soldiers were injured, two seriously, when a road bomb exploded at their vehicle in Jenin.
In a separate incident, an extremist Jewish settler was killed when resistance fighters opened fire at his car on a road between Ramallah and Nablus, particularly at the junction of Oyoun al-Haramiya area.
