Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya received on Saturday in his office in Doha Muslim scholars from the countries participating in the meeting held by the General Assembly of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS).
During their meeting with Haneyya, the scholars offered their condolences over all the Palestinians who were martyred during the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza.
The scholars applauded the heroic performance of the Palestinian resistance on the battlefield, and briefed Haneyya on the efforts being made to support the Palestinian cause and the resistance in Gaza.
For his part, Haneyya welcomed the scholars and congratulated them on the election of new IUMS leadership.
He also wished them every success in their mission and their efforts to support the Palestinian resistance.
