GAZA (PIC)– Hamas Movement has stressed the necessity of putting mechanism and controls that would ensure safety of the resistance weapon and fighters when PA security plan is implemented; asserting that national harmony in this regard is essential.
For his part Ayman Taha Hamas’ representative in the joint office affirmed that Hamas and Fatah Movements have agreed to pull out the deployed security forces from the streets asserting that the deployment must be coordinated between the factions and the PA interior ministry to avoid unsolicited friction.
“The sudden deployment of the PA security forces in the streets of Gaza city prompted us to contact Fatah Movement to inquire on the nature of that deployment to which Fatah responded by saying it was agreed upon between PA chief Mahmoud Abbas and premier Ismail Haneyya” Taha said.
Nonetheless he voiced his Movement’s absolute rejection of the arbitrary implementation of the security plan affirming that the plan must be professionally implemented in coordination with Palestinian factions in order to ensure its success.
He however denied that there was a previous agreement between the two PA officials to start the deployment explaining “What was agreed upon between Abbas and Haneyya was to prepare the atmosphere for the implementation of the plan after taking all the preparations”.
Therefore Ayman slammed the “hasty” implementation of the plan in that random way underlining that proper coordination must take place always before deploying PA security men to avert friction with resistance fighters.
Yet Taha reiterated his Movement’s unquestionable support and utmost concern to bring the security plan into full success urging all Hamas cadres to cooperate with the interior ministry in this regard.
But he underscored the exigency of ensuring the safety and free movement of the resistance fighters from all Palestinian factions urging the ministry to focus the implementation of the plan on lawless elements and vandals in the Palestinian community.
Dr. Mustafa Al-Barghouthi the PA information minister uttered similar remarks accusing certain parties of conniving to foil the plan and to push the Palestinian arena into the quagmire of internal fighting.
Although he acknowledged that obstacles before the implementation of the plan were anticipated Barghouthi asserted that all factions were determined and willing to restore safety and peace to the Palestinian citizenry.
Dr. Ghazi Hamad the spokesman of the PA government affirmed for his part that the execution of the first stage of the plan would start with the formation of a joint security force and an operations room from all PA security departments under the interior minister’s command to execute the plan on the ground.
