The Hamas Movement has considered the statements made by the US official, John Kirby, regarding the future of the Gaza Strip after the war as blatant interference.
This came in response to National Security Council’s Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby’s press statements he made last Tuesday as saying, “in the future post-conflict Gaza, no Hamas should be there.”
In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas rejected Kirby’s comments, stressing, “This statement and similar positions of Biden’s administration are considered as a blatant interference in the affairs of our Palestinian people, and a continuation of the guardianship approach aimed at maintaining the US hegemony over other peoples.”
