The Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Tuesday that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have committed 13 massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of 114 people and wounding 249 others during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry indicated in a statement that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads as the IOF are preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

On the 116th day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the death toll has thus risen to 26,751 martyrs. About 65,636 injuries were also reported.

The Ministry had previously announced that Israeli troops were still tightening the siege on Nasser Medical Complex for the second week, putting the lives of around 150 medical personnel, 450 wounded, and 3,000 displaced people at risk.

The Ministry’s statement also referred to the ongoing targeting of Nasser Medical Complex, noting that its electrical generators will stop within a couple of days due to the lack of fuel.

The statement warned of potential health problems as a result of the accumulation of waste in the hospital’s sections and courtyards as the IOF soldiers are blocking movement in the medical facility.

The Ministry said that the crews, the wounded, and the displaced were running out of food in the Nasser Medical Complex.

The Health Ministry has recorded more than 700,000 cases of infectious and skin diseases, colds, diarrhea, and hepatitis among the displaced, stressing that overcrowding, lack of appropriate shelter, and the lack of sufficient and appropriate food, beverages and medical care have escalated the level of the health and humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
