Thousands of Jordanians took part in a massive march after the Friday prayer in the Jordanian capital, Amman, to denounce the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The march was attended by national and Islamic figures, upon the invitation of the National Forum for Supporting Resistance and Protecting the Nation and the Islamic Movement, under the slogan “Friday of Anger”.
The participants in the march rejected the ongoing siege and continuous genocide in the Gaza Strip for more than six months, condemning what they described as double standards of the international community towards the Palestinian cause.
They raised slogans condemning the aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, demanding the international community to pressure Israel to stop the raging and destructive war on Gaza.
Several speakers at the ensuing rally called on the Jordanian government to halt all forms of normalization with Israel, annul the Wadi Araba agreement, end the land bridge between Jordan and Israel, and work to prevent the export of Jordanian vegetables to Israel.
The participants also demanded the immediate release of all detained prisoners of opinion on the background of activities supporting Gaza. They also criticized the United States as a partner in the genocide being committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
At the same time, youth calls were launched on Thursday emphasizing participation in the Friday of Anger event after Taraweeh prayers in front of the Kalouti Mosque in the vicinity of the Israeli embassy in the capital, Amman.
