The head of Hamas’s political bureau, Ismail Haneyya, concluded his visit to Türkiye and returned to Doha after holding a series of official, party, and national meetings over the past two weeks.
The Movement’s delegation led by Haneyya held meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs and the head of the Turkish Intelligence Service.
Haneyya welcomed dozens of Turkish party leaders and representatives from various political and intellectual movements who expressed their solidarity with Gaza and the Palestinian people.
Haneyya held talks with the senior officials of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Islamic Jihad Movement.
The head of the Movement also received delegations and visitors who extended their condolences for the martyrdom of Haneyya’s sons and grandchildren who were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza.
