The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Sunday a number of Palestinian citizens during campaigns in the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped two citizens from their homes in Jaba town, south of Jenin, amid armed clashes with resistance fighters.
Eyewitnesses said that resistance fighters detonated an explosive device at an IOF vehicle and exchanged fire with soldiers in Jaba town.
The IOF also stormed other areas of Jenin province and set up makeshift checkpoints on roads.
In Nablus, the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home in Madama village.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces kidnaped five Palestinians, residents of Gaza, during a raid on an apartment building in Beitunia town.
Two other citizens were taken prisoners during an IOF raid in al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.
The IOF also kidnaped two young brothers during a raid in ad-Dhahiriya town, south of al-Khalil.
IOF raids also took place in other West Bank areas, with no reported arrests.
